WLF South Asia co-sponsors World Health Day parade

In honor of World Health Day World Lung Foundation, South Asia co-sponsored a Health Day Parade. Held in downtown New Delhi, India, the parade attracted about 1,000 participants. Attendees learned about major health issues in India, including heart health, the importance of preventive care, and tobacco. They heard brief health announcements from prominent doctors and participated in group learning activities. WLF South Asia focused on tobacco in particular, highlighting the dangers of second hand smoke.
